• As you may know, Egg Cave's messaging system is very basic, has no tools for organization, and no search function. This allows for a very disorganized and messy inbox (even more so when users type unrelated words for their subjects).
• Therefore, when sending a message to @nest, please be thoughtful in your subject.
• If the private message 🪺The Nest🪺 provides instructions on how to title the subject of your message, please follow those instructions.
• This is all in place so that it's quick and easy to find certain messages and know who has sent a message. If @nest is the last or final user to reply to your message, and you did not type your username in the subject of the message, your message will be difficult to find quickly if and when needed.
• When you type both what your message is concerning + your username in the subject, this allows @nest to search for keywords and helps out a lot!

For subjects, please always include a brief summary of what your message is about (the subject of your message!) and please always include your username. Please do not title subjects "hi" or "the nest". Subjects do not have to be capitalized, but please include the subject matter and your username.

With | as a divider, appropriate capitalizations, an @ symbol before your username, and your username in all lowercase, this creates an organized, streamlined appearance for all the messages. Messages' usernames are often copied directly from the message subject to be pasted into a message, forum post, or page. Having every user's message subject format uniform helps expedite any clerical, drafting, or data-related tasks for the guild.

Being thoughtful in your message subjects will help to organize the Nest inbox.

About the Pengarland Creature

Pengarlands are highly social creatures that congregate in colonies that range from several hundred to several thousand members. In the same way that no two snowflakes are alike, every Pengarland chick and its parents share a unique call that is used to identify each other among the huge crowd. These calls are often so intricately melodic that they have even been used as the basis for some of Ark's most popular holiday tunes.

During the breeding season, male Pengarlands will rummage around and collect trinkets to decorate their bushy manes as a means for attracting mates. Bachelors who are lucky enough to find a discarded Adarna feather or misplaced Bauble in the snow are destined for a successful season and lifelong partner.
