Siatae have a bit of a negative reputation. They delight in trickery and in the theft of small items and food. While both of these things are annoying they are not what gives Siataes their bad reputation, it is their ability to control spirits. Earning the displeasure of a Siatae can result in your home becoming haunted. This has led to the practice of leaving small offerings in graveyards known to have Siatae in order to appease them. A happy and content Siatae won't send spirits to haunt your home.
