Notes: This creature was adopted on the day I had to
put my dog to sleep. I have faced many devastating
tragedies in my life, including losing my father when
I was still a child, losing the home he built and trying
to find somewhere else to live multiple times. Then my
mom became sick too. But I have never felt a pain this
crippling. He died in my arms. I will never be able to
get the vision of his face after he passed away out of
my mind. Never. The hurt I feel does not have a name.
I don’t know if I will ever recover.
