In Greek mythology, Chrysothemis or Khrysothemis (/krɪˈsɒθɪmɪs/; Ancient Greek: Χρυσόθεμις, "golden law") is a name ascribed to several female characters in Greek mythology.

Chrysothemis, daughter of Carmator and the first winner of the oldest contest held at the Pythian Games, the singing of a hymn to Apollo. She was the wife of Staphylus or a lover of Apollo.
Chrysothemis, a Hesperide pictured and named on an ancient vase together with Asterope, Hygieia and Lipara.
Chrysothemis, daughter of Danaus. She married (and killed) Asterides, son of Aegyptus.
Chrysothemis, daughter of Agamemnon and Clytemnestra. Unlike her sister, Electra, Chrysothemis did not protest or enact vengeance against their mother for having an affair with Aegisthus and then killing their father. She appears in Sophocles's Electra.

About Ohnex Eggs

It appears to you that this egg has been hatched and born before... what could that mean?

About the Ohnex Creature

A single Ohnex lives for hundreds of years and then, like a supernova, bursts into flames and its life ends. This is thought to occur once the phoenix's purpose has been served. After its death, the fiery ash from the explosion slowly descends to the island and coagulates into a brand-new Ohnex egg. This new Ohnex egg must be placed close to The Volcano in order to hatch. Otherwise, it will simply not have enough heat or be able to feel the fire power of the island.

Soaring the skies, the Ohnex is a majestic bird with a huge wingspan. In the daytime, their beauty is often eclipsed and hidden by the sun, but occasionally Ohnex put on a fiery visual display at night.

While fire consumes all, Ohnex are known to be gentle creatures that are unaggressive towards both Arkians and other creatures—Keepers of the Flames.
