About the Kotele Creature

Once hatched, the Kotele grows a small pair of wings. Sadly, these wings cannot support its bodyweight at that stage, so it can't fly just yet. It's only until the next stage that its wings grow large enough for it to hover a few feet off the ground for a few seconds at a time. Then, in its final evolution, it can both crawl quickly and fly where it pleases.

Koteles often try to blend in with their surroundings, so as not to draw attention. They frequently try to mimic and copy gargoyles and perch near them. If spooked, Koteles will run away in fear. While very creepy, they aren't aggressive and ultimately avoid the company of others, both other creatures and people.
