A very hard, chitinous egg. Any damage to it will likely harm the creature inside so Ardapell eggs are rarely handled.
The Ardapell is a notoriously difficult species to study due to their long lives and slow metabolism. It is believed this species can live without food for over two months.
The Ardapell can communicate to other Ardapell using mixtures of body language and sounds, primarily tapping their legs against their shells. Very few of these have been translated and different Ardapell schools have their own language.
