About Ocoren Eggs

Ocoren eggs are generally found near the base of trees covered in leaf litter. This not only keeps them warm but helps camouflage their rather bright coloration.

About the Ocoren Creature

Ocoren are a common sight in Ark's forests at spring time. They show up as the snows begin to melt and only increase in number as the weather warms. Ocoren antlers aren't covered by traditional velvet, instead they have a special coating of moss and lichens. This coating is exceptionally good at picking up pollen from plants that an Ocoren eats or brushes up against. This makes Ocorens an important pollinator for several species of plants and trees around Ark.
