Gestans are a flying flower creature powered by the chemical process of photosynthesis. In general, Gestans do not fly on cloudy days to conserve energy. When they're critically low on energy after several cloudy or stormy days, Gestans flock to mountain peaks that are above the cloud ceiling to get more sunlight and recharge. This journey, however, can be dangerous to Gestans as mountain peaks typically have much lower temperatures.
Gestans are from Fairy World and don't grow naturally in the forest or in native flower beds on Ark.
