Dandee seeds are produced every spring by Dandee heads. Each head can release up to 215 seeds per season, and can travel hundreds of miles based on wind conditions.
Dandees are a common sight across Ark. In backyards, fields, plains, woods, sidewalks, and even streets, these hardy little creatures are a weed species that thrive just about anywhere. Resistant and stubborn, they have quite the temper.
These creatures are usually in patches of upwards to ten, and depending how many heads the creature has, it can produce up to 1,800 seeds per season.
This stubborness and capability to reproduce in large quantities is by careful design, for Dandees were created by the reclusive Naharians to keep an ever watchful eye over the delicate state of nature on the island.
