Pipsquake eggs are dark, gelatinous orbs laid in small clutches beneath the glassy deserts northwest of the islandโs Volcano, buried just enough to keep cool from the blistering daytime heat.
The Pipsquake is a small frog species native to the inhospitable stretch of obsidian lava fields formed from The Volcanoโs eruptions. It defensively squeaks and inflates its body at the slightest whiff of danger, leaving its not-so-pudgy appearance often unseen.
An acute sensitivity to seismic waves serves to forewarn itself and others of any volcanic activity.
