This Alkub was Sent to @Lexian by @turelure85 in the hopes she could be passed onto a Cove Keeper who Owns an Alkub Paradise - So Far, Lexian hasn't been able to find this Particular Arkian, but has been sure to make the Alkub Very Comfortable in the Meantime, finding them some 'Assorted Silk Pillows' from the Trinket Travels before Spoiling them Rotten with several kinds of 'Dipped Strawberry' - She should Hopefully sleep Full and Comfortable this Evening!

Alkora Reached Stage 2: 01/09/26, She looks a little Intimidated by her surroundings, but Lexian is Sure she'll settle in Eventually - Hidcote is always on hand to help make Nervous Beasties feel a little more Safe!

And on Hand that Lavendog Was! Alkora had never expected the World outside her Egg to be Soo Incredibly Loud! Everywhere she looked, there were Creatures of All Shapes and Sizes...and because she was 'New' Everyone wanted to see her! It was Truly Terrifying! She just wanted to Run Away!

Then she caught the Faintest Whiff of something on the Air... Pinpointing an unmoving Dash of Colour, she skittered towards it, the scent becoming Stronger as she pushed her way between two Furry Pillars before spinning around and Peering back towards whence she'd come... The Lavendog's Scent was Calming, she could feel herself Relaxing more with each Breath - Her Saviour's Aroma can't have been Everyone's Favourite Flavour as once she'd taken cover beneath Hidcote's Frame, the other Creatures seemed to Disperse...But she didn't mind...Infact, she was so Grateful for the Lavendog's Presence that she began to Purr...

Alkora Reached Stage 3 - 10/09/26. Her Purr is even Stronger now, but the tine to grow Wary is when that Purring Stops, because that means she has gone into 'Hunting Mode' - It's Purely for Play, Of Course...but some of the Smaller Creatures aren't so certain... 🤐

About Alkub Eggs

Alkub eggs were once thought to be the only ones on Ark that made a sound. If you put your ear up to an Alkub egg and listen very carefully, you can hear the purring sound of the baby Alkub. The sad part is, once the Alkub is hatched, that purring noise is extremely annoying until it's fully matured as an adult.

About the Alkub Creature

Alkub are the most gentle beast in Ark. They are frequently found roaming in the Northern Plains, near the entrance of the Egg Cave. Baby Alkub have a very annoying growling and purring sound, but a fully mature Alkub is a force to be reckoned with.
