Day 50
10.03.2026

Decided to celebrate day 50 with an egg I worked hard for.
I spent a good 6 hours playing egg cave yesterday and racked up enough seeds to get this little guy.

I have run into a problem with finding good and nice names for the new creatures. I am now picking off names in Spanish so that I can keep my cave running.

My roommate brought a friend over after work, she's super nice. But I have retreated into my room because I was not expecting guests and I am trying to just decompress from my last shift. Not to mention that I'm kinda just hanging out in lounging clothes.

Anyway, I guess I am still learning how to eat a more balanced meal. Today I was proud of the meal I made out of leftovers: Chicken chow mein, took all the chicken and a small portion of noodles, heated it up in some oil and tipped a little soy sauce into it and then added two large eggs to bring up my protein. I added some peanuts at the end so I had a satisfying crunch.

I'm waiting for my beans to cook so that I can fry them and store them for breakfast tomorrow and maybe a burrito later.

I started ironing my clothes, btw. It makes my outfits a little sharper and it makes me appreciate my clothes. I guess kinda how when I only feature one egg a day I appreciate my egg a little more.

Oh, I called my uni. They have an atrocious phone system that can't get me through to anyone unless I already have their extension. Anyway, I have to text someone from the school to help me get the email of an advisor. I am ready to go back. I think I'll start watching youtube videos while I play EggCave so that I am thinking about my classes.

And physical therapy is getting harder. It is making me stronger, I am a little sore the next day after I do the mock pistol squats and the crab crawls. I think I am going to add a wall sit to the every day ones on top of the cranes and the flamingos.
I did not walk today.

About Hollowkit Eggs

This egg looks like a pumpkin seed from the Halloween Fair! But it's definitely not a seed... it's an egg!

About the Hollowkit Creature

Every October, pumpkins left too long in moonlit fields begin to hum. By the first frost, a few have grown curious little kitten bodies, and the Hollowkit tumbles out into the world, still trailing bits of vine.

A Hollowkit's carved face changes with its mood: a grin when playful, wide round eyes when curious, and a scowl when someone steals its sunny spot. Pumpkin vines curl from its neck like a mane and trail behind it as a tail.

The candle glow inside a Hollowkit brightens when it purrs, so a happy one can light up an entire room. Many wonder about what the flame's actual source is, however.

On chilly nights, a Hollowkit curled at the foot of the bed is said to keep away bad dreams, though it may leave a few pumpkin seeds—not redeemable at the Halloween Fair—behind.
