Miyax the Hallowolf

I wake to the sound of whimpers, and open bleary eyes to see Effulgence staring at me. It's odd for him to be here this time of night, but he chirps once and then points accusingly out the window. I peer out, and there I see the source of the noise, a small creature, huddled at the edge of the yard. I pad outside.
"Shhh. I'm not gonna hurt you... Shhhh"
I scoop the creature up, and it meets my gaze with large intelligent eyes. It whimpers again and hic-ups an attempt at a howl
