She descends slowing, making large lazy circles and sweeping gracefully through the cold, thin air. Her eyes dart too and fro before locking onto something, and she alters her course, suddenly determined and precise. She hurtles toward the earth, dipping just below her target and swooping up in a tight arc. She alights gently on the branches of the fir, pleased with herself.
"This one" she chirps, apparently forgetting that everyone else is here too, that she's not the ONLY one choosing the tree

About the Gideh Creature

Multiple human interaction tests have been done with Gideh and what's remarkable is that, although Gideh can only "hoot", they can apparently understand human speech. For example, if you said, "Go to Ark City" from the Egg Cave, Gideh know exactly which way to travel. Similarly, if you tell Gideh to complete certain tasks in the future, they will always perform them at the exact, specified time. Thus, Gideh are regarded as the most wise owl species on Ark.
