Shoshone Love Song

Fair is the white star of twilight,
and the sky clearer at the day's end;
But he is fairer, and he is dearer.
He, my heart's friend!

Far stars and fair in the skies bending,
Low stars of hearth fires and wood smoke ascending,
The meadow-lark's nested,
The night hawk is winging;
Home through the star-shine the hunter comes singing.

Fair is the white star of twilight,
And the moon roving
To the sky's end;
But he is fairer, better worth loving,
He, my heart's friend.

About Plore Eggs

This egg was only given out from February 14-17, 2012.

Similar to a stained glass window, Plore (ploh-ray) eggs have a translucent quality to them that allows a newborn Plore's shape to be seen indistinctly as it moves inside the egg. These eggs are often brightly colored, and the Science and Research Center has discovered that no two eggs have the same pattern, similar to a snowflake.

About the Plore Creature

Plore can only be found flying through the sky on Valentine's Day. Growing to immense sizes, Plore wheel through the sky and clouds performing their mating ritual. This dance has been found to have a powerful effect on Arkians and just witnessing it can put anyone in a remarkably good and hopeful mood. Every year, just before the Plore begin to dance, a large festival is held in Ark City to celebrate and renew the love between the citizens of Ark and all species of creatures. Filled with fun and food, this festival ends with the dancing of the Plore. Once every few years, a Plore will descend and grant it's blessing to a particularly happy couple.
