Nimajneb the Battyrus

Meet Nimajneb! He is one of my favorite pets because I chose him from the cave before he was endangered; on the same day that I joined EggCave eight years ago. I named him after my youngest son but, as Benjamin was already taken, just spelled his name backward! As many of you know, Ben is totally paralyzed from the head down since he was ten years old (he will be 37 soon) and I am his caregiver. It allows me the opportunity to play on EggCave while I'm sitting with him and such have I met so many of you, fine friends!
As time has past since I first chose Nimajneb, I find that many of his strange and special qualities are, indeed, shared by my Ben. Contrary to other similar beasts in our reality, Battyrus flourish in the daylight. As does my son, who despite his disabilities, can do so much for himself and be a real participant in the world around him. They both chose to hibernate in darkness; comfortably contained in their singularity. Both of them shine brightly all the time!
