A hippie (sometimes spelled hippy) is a member of the counterculture of the 1960s, originally a youth movement that began in the United States during the mid-1960s and spread to other countries around the world. The word hippie came from hipster and was used to describe beatniks who moved into New York City's Greenwich Village and San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury district. The term hippie first found popularity in San Francisco with Herb Caen, who was a journalist for the San Francisco Chronicle.

About Ranfil Eggs

This egg was only available in Egg Cave's Cash Shop Park for March 2012.

Ranfil eggs are generally found floating on top of small water pools or slow-moving streams. Upon removing them from a moist environment, the eggs shrivel and disintegrate.

About the Ranfil Creature

Ranfils are among one of the most studied and researched creatures in Ark. In samples taken from Ranfils, the Science and Research Center in Ark City has found many similarities between Ranfils and the other eggs and creatures spotted around The Mysterious Asteroid. This has lead scientists to believe that Ranfils may have indeed come to Ark via The Mysterious Asteroid. Mysteriously enough, Ranfils do not appear around The Mysterious Asteroid, however.

Ranfil, unless reasonably aggravated, are peaceful creatures. They have a vegetarian diet and roam the wetlands and swamps of Ark.
