In the murky shadows, a raven haired man watched the reunion. He scowled, watching the vermin of the Night force his wife to lay still, and let him do his work. He didn't want her to be tortured like this. He didn't want this Demon anywhere near his beatiful kitten..
But without him, she would manage to get herself killed again, and lose her last life.
And obviously, he couldn't allow that.
