below was written in like 2016 lol. I have since graduated college (terrible) and actually made a close friend on this site and we met irl and I love her.

currently (early 2023) I'm doing a coding bootcamp to make a huge career change and I think part of the reason I got interested in software engineering is literally because of eggcave. being on this site for over half my life has had some sort of impact tbh. like in 2009 there were no forums, only like 20 species, pretty sure there wasn't even currency? despite many hiatuses and attempts to quit I've been online pretty consistently throughout the site's development to present day. it's honestly incredible and unconsciously inspired me perhaps. however I'll probably suck as a developer since this nonsense is already hard af

Yes, I am going to college in a few months. I am very prepared

About Quadwing Eggs

Quadwing eggs consume more energy than their hatched stages, as part of their very intense and complex incubation process that's dedicated to growing the soon-to-be mammoth-sized creature inside.

About the Quadwing Creature

Hatched Quadwings spend a majority of the first half of their life sleeping, so as to generate energy for their quick growth. Midway through their lives, they become much more active.

In terms of personality, Quadwings are gatherer-types and are very cooperative with their own kind and trusting of other species too. Many Quadwings live in collectives and support one another in each other's endeavors.

Quadwing collectives, as they are informally called, are under intense sociological study by scientists in Ark City. They are investigating the underlying evolutionary assumptions of caring for your own kind and how Quadwings are so selfless as an entire species.
