Phantom-Skies the Phantowl

One day, Phantom the Phantowl, who was the Guardian of the gates to the Underworld, was reminiscing about the old days, when she stood guard and guard again, and realized she had never really done anything but be a guardian and a watcher. She watched souls float past, but that was most of it. Occasionally, souls would try to escape, and she would catch them. But other than that, she just stood guard, and watched as time passed by. Phantom would talk to Khao, who was the Watcher of Silent Winter Night. Khao got a lot of time off, which was spent either on vacation or hanging out with Phantom in the underworld. Khao told Phantoms about where she would go, and what she would watch. One thing in particular stood out to Phantom, and that was the Nest Fest. Phantom was curious about what a festival was like, and wanted to experience it for herself, but she felt a tug in her thoughts to stay and guard. Khao had enough, and wanted for her friend to go and see the amazing lights and stands. And so, Khao went up to the Lord of the Underworld, and asked if Phantom and herself could have a vacation for a week. Khao was prepared for a rejection, but to her surprise, the Lord agreed. Khao sprinted back to Phantom, and they both went to see the Nest Fest. The Lord, who watched Phantom all her life guarding the gates, was happy to see her experience festivities for the first time, and gave Phantom a few more days at the festival with Khao. And so, Phantom witnessed her first vacation, festival, and the outside of the underworld.
