Huevito reminds me of my abuelita. Mostly because it was her go-to food to cook for me when I was growing up. She would make me eggs, and I could swear to you that those are the best eggs in the world. She made with with just the right amount of oil, on the right temperature, until they turned into the perfect fluffy texture.

And she always combo'd it with weenies, some beans, a glass of milk, some cookies, and some sliced fruit. I never go hungry when my abuelita is around. Sometimes I think to myself that she was so so so young when she had my mother and I wonder what she would have chosen to do with her life if it hadn't been motherhood.

She's also a great sales person, maybe she would have done well in some type of marketing thing. Or maybe she would have chosen motherhood, because she does so well in taking care of anyone that is not herself. Right now she knows she needs to eat more protein and needs to wear her sunblock to protect her skin, and yet, she cooks for the family and reminds us to use her sunblock... but the woman will not wear it herself! What is this madness? Please take care of yourself so that I can keep enjoying your huevitos con weenies and you can keep making me feel loved like a child.

About Sunniflat Eggs

The Sunniflat egg has a soft, translucent spot on it where, if you look closely, you can see the embryo of the creature. It likes to be half-submerged in warm water.

About the Sunniflat Creature

The Sunniflat likes to lounge on big flat rocks in the ocean, close enough to the surface that they can get warm. You can often see them huddling atop sand bars, sunbathing and slapping in the shallow waters. They'll sit here for hours and nap, unless they're disturbed by boaters or swimming Arkians.
