The Candyfin egg has a strangely crumbly texture on the outside of it and it's important that it's kept out of the rain. It also has a sweet smell to it; many people call it nostalgic. Arkians are unsure where the smell comes from and can't quite place their fingers on it.
Once the Candyfin hatches, it tends to school with other of its kind, getting up to crowds of nearly 100 other creatures. It is also known to hang around Sparktails, as they have the same diet (surprisingly!). However, Candyfins have many more predators than other river creatures do due to its super sweet taste.
