Magic and starlight coalescing into something great.
When the stars align with the tides of magic that course through Ark strange sights begin to appear across the world. The first to emerge from the aether, herald and protector of all those that come after, is the Aio. Starlight and magic made tangible, these bears can be found roaming Ark's forests during this rare alignment. Unlike some of their brethren who come after them Aio are not shy creatures. They can even be befriended, if you work hard enough, though they will still remain wild and free.
Once the alignment of stars and magic ends many of the Aio will vanish back into the aether that spawned them. The few that stick around can be glimpsed translucent and flickering between the trees on clear nights. There are even some reports of strange movements in the night skies over Ark for months afterward, stars that seem to shift and dance or swirls colors that vanish in a blink. Are these the vanished Aio or something else?
