The Enchantmount is a massive, lumbering construct of boulders manipulated by way of an ancient druidic artform thought to have been introduced to early Naharians by the considerably older Erduri species. The confidentiality of this well-kept secret to creating Enchantmounts is of such utmost importance to the Naharian folk that the process had been nearly lost throughout the realm’s more tumultuous historical eras.
Enchantmounts at their largest spend most days immobile, save for occasionally shifting their weight to better stabilize themselves, providing an effective shelter for Undeerbrush herds. Smaller Enchantmounts are tasked with menial labor around Naharian settlements.
Naharian mythology details that all of Naharia is situated atop the back of a gargantuan Enchantmount. If Ark were to become irreparably imbalanced against nature, it is foretold that this Enchantmount will awaken from its deep slumber to carry off Naharia in search of a safe haven to start anew.
