Ainur is my name! In J. R. R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings," the Ainur are spirits who are direct representatives of Eru Lluvatar (God to the people in his books). Ainur means 'The Holy Ones'. These were the first of the creations of Eru, born of his thought.
