oh man i didn't know about that place??? will check out rn. omg and yeah releasing cats onto the street is so terrible in multiple ways bc cats literally destroy ecosystems?? so i have this other fantasy that i'll take in a stray. basically free cat

and furthermore im afraid that once society goes back to "normal" (god forbid) there'll be a HUGE influx of shelter animals bc people don't have time for them anymore and that makes me sad ._. like how many impulse adoptions do u think were made recently

yeah that would be worrisome but i feel like that's p much what's happening rn. like shelters around here are essentially empty with cats being scooped up the day they get posted on a website. everyone tryna have a cat rn smh. which is GREAT like im happy but i want one too uwu

im avoiding looking at shelter websites bc i'm afraid i'll get really attached to a cat again and then have my heart broken. waiting until shelters open to the public again :B

i mean he didn't like order her online he just reserved her i think?? and then went to the shelter to pick her up? i'm sure he could have said no if he got there and didn't like her but i would feel SO bad lol. like he legit picked her from a single headshot

so it might be awhile. my parents are like grudgingly accepting that i'll probably get a cat bc i don't talk about anything else. but i'm also worried a cat will mess up my plants lmfao, so i really am looking for a senior cat that doesn't care about anything// is too fat

i dont know dude, i really want to be able to actually go to a shelter and meet a cat before i get one. like kiran literally saw a young cat on humane society website and just called them and was like "can i have her" and it worked out but i can't do that lol
