Vaporeon are probably based on domesticated cats,with mermaid like features. In early stages of Pokemon Red,Blue and Green, Vaporeon had fins on its legs. If you have a female shiny Eevee, shiny Vaporeon really adds to the female,being light and dark shades of pink with white fins and collar.
