Was that reddit thread the one that the mother was incredibly upset that the daughter wasn't a stereotypical female teenager? If so, I hated it. It made me so angry that this mother was attempting to live through her daughter.

WtAF?! Just ran across a Reddid thread where the mom flipped out over husband buying daughter goth clothes. (Here I'm used to the devil worshiper accusations.) Her worry, that it means her daughter is never going to marry and have children. WHERE's the line of reasoning?! o.O?!
