Haha really? It can be pretty gimmicky. I think the word I was thinking of was typefacing. It's so much fun designing letters ^^

aloe • 1 May 2020, 1:12 AM

Ooh, do you do calligraphy? It sounds like something you'd be incredible at!

aloe • 1 May 2020, 12:59 AM

Oh wow, coloring in felt tip is definitely a lot more challenging than linework with them. It requires so much more continuity, if you can handle felt tips you can seriously work with anything, that's amazing! 😃

aloe • 1 May 2020, 12:50 AM

If you do art and enjoy art, it makes you an artist! 😃 That's what my professors like to tell us, at least. I love working in pencil, but the smudging is heartbreaking so I switched to ink a while back haha

aloe • 1 May 2020, 12:40 AM

Frill is literallly such a pain, are you working with pencils or charcoal? Commends to you for going over it again and finishing it, I can't imagine how much patience that must have took ^^

aloe • 1 May 2020, 12:27 AM

Clothes and fabric are the bane of my existence. And yes, bows are pure evil. They must have been designed by some flashy demon because not only are they a pain to draw, they're also such a pain to make. Terrible, just terrible.

aloe • 1 May 2020, 12:18 AM

Oh my gosh, the details on the clothing and hair must have taken so much work. I think even if they aren't significant drawings, it's something that you can really be proud of and look back on one day as its own piece of art. Drawing is just fun ^^

aloe • 1 May 2020, 12:15 AM

Realism is definitely tricky! It takes so much time and commitment for all the details, but the results are so worth it~

aloe • 1 May 2020, 12:05 AM

Yes! I'm actually an illustrator so if you need any drawing tips I'd be glad to help out! It just takes time and practice, but if it's something you enjoy then you'll be amazing at it ❤️

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 11:54 PM

That's awesome! I could totally see you making a webcomic or short story one day~
I'll probably check it out when I'm emotionally prepared to cry, stories like that are oh so exhausting 😋

froot • 30 Apr 2020, 11:47 PM

lol go ahead and choose from my friends list xD

froot • 30 Apr 2020, 11:17 PM

i think eggcave is more of a healthy distraction/addiction to me xD i should really go work now i have so mUch wOrK and also i bid on so many auctions i'm hella broke and i don't wanna feed

feeding is so boring

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 11:16 PM

I could never get into my my notes, but I think that's just because I'm terrible at creative writing. Do you enjoy writing a lot? ^^ Those stories are just the WORST. The ones that lure you in with all these lovable characters that you end up being so attached to and then asdfghj

froot • 30 Apr 2020, 11:15 PM

Meh, i guess okay? i have so much work to get done i really shouldn't be on eggcave rn but a part of my brain keeps freaking out whenever i leave eggcave for too long

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 11:05 PM

Ah definitely. Auditory learning is a lot harder to retain, and it's such a good thing that you write down all of your ideas! Doesn't sound like a brainfart at all~ The art for Hooky looks amazing, oh my gosh. Is it really sad? I'm not prepared to go on a feels trip tbhhhh

froot • 30 Apr 2020, 10:51 PM

om gawd hi

i have literally 88k ec left

i'm broke thanks to auctions

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:48 PM

OOh, yessss. Not a fan of cliches, I can tell I'm going to like this series already!

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:47 PM

Haha, i guess writing in the margins is only good in theory, if you have super tiny handwriting. I love reading through other people's notes in used books though, some of them are quite humorous, and it feels like I'm having a conversation with them in a way ^^

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:46 PM

It's great to hear that everyone can return back to school soon! Also I totally agree. A few times is okay since everyone has bad days but using someone to copy their homework is just meh, kinda crappy. A system my friends used was that we took turns copying and doing the hw lol

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:34 PM

The characters are all so cute looking and likeable so far oh my goodness. Their expressions are the best~

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:33 PM

while everyone else copies off of their answers. Old books are SO satisfying. Do you take notes in your books too? It's wonderful to go back and look through a book that's been written on in the margins. Indentations is a great word for sure

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:32 PM

How long have you guys been at home for? For me it's been about two months, I don't even know what it feels like sit in class anymore haha. I have so much respect for you for actually doing the work oh my goodness. When I was still in school it'd be like one person doing the work

wigglytuff • 30 Apr 2020, 10:24 PM

oh thank you! yours is looking lovely as well ❤️

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:24 PM

heard of that one, but the art looks so adorable! I'll definitely give it a read!

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:22 PM

Aha, it's a special situation, so I think once school starts again for you things will gradually return to normal. It's just nice to get a break from all of this, maybe less so since that break for you involved so much homework. And oh my goodness ikr? I've never-

wigglytuff • 30 Apr 2020, 10:13 PM

thanks, offered :0

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 10:06 PM

That actually sounds like a super healthy sleeping schedule. All nighters on the weekends don't count, right? 😋 Ooh it's so easy to get lost reading webtoons. The time just passes like it's nothing

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 9:52 PM

Oh yeah. Sleep is especially important for all the work and learning that you do. Sadly most high school students are seriously lacking in sleep. It's just a hard time balancing it all out

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 9:42 PM

And yep! Sleep is something that's so different for different people. I have friends who can do fine off four hours of sleep a night and I hate them for that, so jealous xD

aloe • 30 Apr 2020, 9:41 PM

Ooh, australia. Is it the afternoon for you there now? I'm not sure I've heard anyone use the word Colonel either, but it just exists at the back of my mind as a word that I hate. I appreciate the people who correct in a helpful way. The jerk grammar police, not so much ;-;
