How to find entries: Visit your friends' profiles (and their friends' profiles) and look for the myLights banner at the top of their profile. I've noticed the same thing too regarding voting. A lot of the votes appear incredibly biased, especially those with a gigantic friend list.

Posting all the entries in one spot and allowing each account to vote only once would probably work out a lot better.
