Tasmanian devil still makes the most sense for the Tasma. I mean, even the name is similar and they are "dog-like". Not to mention-

Whoa, I never thought about a Tasmanian Tiger... maybe it has rainbow-colored stripes? Plus, its name means "dog headed" or something.
