STAR CREATURES - Star creatures have received an update! Star creatures will now receive a daily stats boost for their respective evolution stat (for that species). Star creatures now experience slowed hunger (of up to a third slower) too. STAR CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS - You now have the ability to customize stars for each creature in your Cove. Find the creature in your Cove then click Manage Star. You can now change the position of the star (on your creature image) in addition to its color. The current color options are as follows.
STATS BOOST NOTIFICATIONS - Daily stats boost Notifications are now condensed into only 1 Notification per day (not one for each star creature like it has been before).

It's not an issue for me, but I do see why people would be upset about star creatures getting the bonus whether or not they want it to.

i wish i could opt out of the bonus without removing star
