Thanks to the generosity of the citizens of Ark, the most recent Science and Research Center Fund has been completed, which means that the Drakomo is now available in the Creature Labs for 5,000,000 EC.
The very-similar cousin of the Luminese, the Luminette, has been found in the Cave! It's estimated that they share about 97.8% of their DNA.
The Science and Research Center in Ark City has uncovered a dormant, unhatched Drakomo egg, thus allowing them the capability of genetic reconstruction. Basically, you can now contribute to the SAR Center fund to get the Drakomo in the Creature Labs.
The Drakomo will remain available from the Leila Oasis regardless.
The Egg Cave site-wide search on the sidebar sidebar was bugging out when you searched with special characters like dashes (-). This has been fixed. Search away!
This new creature will be released during the Halloween Fair. Write for it in the Creature Description Writing Contest to receive the first of its kind.
We will likely be choosing the winner on 29 September. Please submit your entries before then.

Our database had some hiccups this morning, which prevented things like feeds and the Site Trivia from resetting. Feeds have been cleared and the Trivia have been rotated for the day. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Other areas that are also affected by daily resets have been updated, too.
We believe that we've been able to apply a fix but will have to continue to monitor the databases to see if it will be a viable long-term solution (i.e. there is a small possibility this could occur again). If the site goes down again, don't worry — we're on it!
Daily Cave attempts have been reset to 0 due to these hiccups. Enjoy some extra tries on us!
