You heard right. Beta begins Monday. It's going to be: PURE AWESOMENESS.

I stop things... but I cannot stop the awesomeness of beta from beginning!

Whew! Halloween was quite a busy time, but it was a TON of fun (especially at Egg Cave).

In case you didn't notice, all of the Halloween Bash creatures retired from the Cave October 31 at 11:59:59 pm ECT. But, to keep the fun going...

All Halloween Bash creatures will be available in the Cash Shop Park through November 10. After that, they will become permanently extinct and will never be re-released again. We're doing this in case you didn't get a chance to get all of your favorite creatures (or enough of them) in the Bash.

"We're available in the Cash Shop Park!"

NOTE: Grubbugs are not available in the Cash Shop because a glitch kept them in the Cave after the Bash was over. There are plenty in circulation.

Stay safe while you're out there Trick-or-Treat'ing. Stick with a group of people and make sure your parents know what you're doing. :)

But now... behold the ultimate Halloween creature of Year 2. It's one of the foulest creatures; do not let your eyes deceive you...

Werewolves start to go a bit crazy around Halloween...

Hopefully Goblars shouldn't give you too much of a scare...

BETA UPDATE: Please do not send us tickets about becoming a beta tester. It clogs our systems up from other more important tickets. :D Thanks for helping us take care of our members the most efficient way. <3

As a part of the Halloween Bash, we are beginning version 2 beta registration today. We will be accepting a limited number of beta testers, however... 300 to be exact.

You can register to become a beta tester in one of two ways: Twitter or Facebook.

For Twitter:

• Go to Twitter and either register or sign in.
  
• Go to the Egg Cave Twitter and follow us.
  
• Send a message to @eggcave with your Egg Cave username, stating you'd like to become a beta tester.

For Facebook:

• Go to Facebook and either register or sign in.
  
• Go to the Egg Cave Facebook page.
  
• Become a fan of us.
  
• Post on our Wall with your Egg Cave username, stating you'd like to become a beta tester.

The reason why we're having beta registration through Twitter and Facebook is to boost awareness that we have these social networking pages. :)

NOTE : You must follow us or become a fan to be accepted. ALSO: just because you posted your username on either Twitter and Facebook DOES NOT guarantee you a beta spot.

How do I know if I've been chosen? If you've been chosen, a box on the right-hand side of every Egg Cave page will appear saying that "you're registered for beta." ;)

Send us your message as soon as possible! Beta spots will go really fast. ;)

Additionally, the Archives have been updated. The Science and Research Center took a while to find the evolution points for several of the creatures... Terron are still completely unknown, however.

The limited-edition Cash Shop Park Halloween Bash creature is now available. It will be available only through Halloween.

FINAL GLITCH RESOLVE: If you obtained your Mummar from the Cave, please submit in a ticket said you did so. Additionally, if you purchase a Mummar fair and square before 26 Oct 10:30 pm ECT, you have been reimbursed 500 CaveCash. <3 This has all been made right. Send in a ticket if you have any questions.

The Halloween Bash at Egg Cave has begun and will last throughout all this week! All of the creatures release for the Halloween Bash will be only available for this week; then the magic of Halloween will cease and they will become extinct.

We'll also be keeping you updated on the BETA for VERSION 2 throughout this week. Instructions will be posted soon as to how to become a beta tester.

Now... to begin: what a better way to start off the week with a magical pumpkin-like creature? Can you obtain one?

P.S. -- The Science and Research Center in Ark City is still trying to figure out why the Ghosty of Year 1 (Ghosty) was in that previous mass email...
