If you sent a message to @eggcave on Twitter, you're registered to be a beta tester for our brand new Trade Center (it will appear on the Ark City map soon, but for now, use this link)! If you're not a beta tester, don't worry -- the Trade Center will be released publicly soon.

We cannot guarantee that everybody will be a beta tester. :D But that's how we'll be determining beta testers.

We're working on the Trading Center right now and it should be ready soon. :) While we're working on it, we just wanted to get your thoughts on another Egg Cave idea: forums and roleplaying.

Aeroria, head administrator of the Town Hall, has finally decided to hire 50 new workers to assist her with the paperwork surrounding all of the creature name changes in Ark.

As a result, you can now change any of your creatures' names 10 times per 30 days.

There is a new species of creature that has been discovered in Ark. It was discovered, contrary to popular belief, not by the Science and Research Center, but by an Ark resident, savannah!

The myLights Christmas Competition is coming to a close too! Be sure to vote for your favorites -- voting ends soon! :)

How to vote: At the bottom of every myLights entry, there is now a button to vote. You can vote ONCE for each entry.

How to find entries: Visit your friends' profiles (and their friends' profiles) and look for the myLights banner at the top of their profile. If they are entered in the myLights Christmas Competition, the myLights banner will appear. Click the banner to view their entry; if you like the entry, vote for it!

Voting closes December 31 at 3:00 pm Egg Cave Time. We will tally the votes and announce the winners on New Years.

And due to popular demand, submissions are still being accepted while voting is commencing. It's not too late to enter just yet!
