Day 32 on EggCave

Originally Day 32 was Doom the Terron, but I figured he would be a better egg to start off the spooky season with. So here we are, my little Gecko friend is day 32 now.

Today I woke up after a looooong shift yesterday a little sore from my workout from 2 days ago. I plan on taking it easy, but by the end of the day I need to contact my university to reenroll in school. I need to keep going if I want to be an RN. Can't stay here, it's not helping me and I would be of more help with more education, whether I like it or not.

I'm not looking forward to having to plan my life around studying, but alas, it must be done. I'm not looking forward to rejecting my friend's and family's invitations, but they will be proud of me once I'm done. I think the worst part is that I know that I'm going to want to be a PA, NP or MD in the future. So I'm nowhere near "done."

I think what I need to do is enjoy the learning process and actually have conversations with my professors. They usually like me. I need to set aside some time for this. I need discipline. I want discipline.

Gecko, thanks for being the entry that makes me realize that.

About Salaslyke Eggs

Salaslyke eggs are spiny and scaly. An invisible, odd smelling goo surrounds the egg; if the goo were to touch human skin, it would turn it permanently red and scaly. It's best not to touch these eggs until they hatch...

About the Salaslyke Creature

Salaslyke are an interesting type of reptile. They are very quick on their feet and are able to discern dangerous situations swiftly. Their main weapons are not only their speed but their powerful jump (which grows stronger with each evolution) and rock-solid tail. That's why when a Salaslyke smacks your face with their tail, a common jocular saying amongst Ark residents is, "You've been slyked!"
