Dear Soph,

HAPPY *im guessing way too early* BIRTHDAY !!! I meant to get this lovely Hulae for myself to remember my hedgehog as part of my collection but I saw that you wanted one, so I thought to myself; I wanted to give this to Soph and it's so amazing that I can give you something that you like and make you smile.

I don't think you know or understand but I am so grateful for you. I have always felt that I don't deserve your friendship but you have shown me grace and compassion again and again without being impatient with me or being irritated. You are such a wonderful human being and I am so glad that I met you. I really have no clue to this day why you like me (heck, I don't even like myself) and have always been kind to me but know that you have made such a great, positive impact on me that I can't explain with just words. I'm so, so thankful to have you and I hope to celebrate your existence with you. I hope years later we will be able to look back and say "wow, now look at that, who knew we could have been friends for all this time". I don't say it enough but I love you so much Soph TAT I'm sorry that I'm never saying it out loud or often enough.

Love,
Jen

About Hulae Eggs

This egg was only available in Egg Cave's Cash Shop Park for August 2014.

Hulae eggs only appear in warm and humid climates and are found more frequently in the summer. The eggs themselves do not like to be stagnant and left in one place; they like to sway back and forth. In fact, Hulae eggs hatch quicker if they are moved regularly.

About the Hulae Creature

During the summer solstice Hulae travel all across Ark to the southern beaches. Although the Science and Research Center in Ark City does not understand why, they have speculated that the Hulae perform a ritual where they honor the sun, moon, and sea. Some people believe that Hulae do this to ask for a never-ending summer. Despite these rumors, nobody has seen exactly what they do in their ceremony.

The Hulae are also expert craftsmen when it comes to creating things from local flora. Tourists flock to the beaches to watch groups of these creatures weave flowers together into crowns, necklaces, bracelets, and much more. The most mysterious thing about these creations is that the flowers never wilt or seem to age once weaved by a Hulae.
