About Avem Eggs

Avem eggs emit a smell like spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. The scent is not overpowering but does grow stronger the closer the egg is to hatching. As such, many Ark citizens will set Avem eggs out in their homes, using them like potpourri.

About the Avem Creature

Avem retain the spicy scent that their eggs had. You can always tell when an Avem is near by the scent of spices on the wind. Despite their small numbers it's not hard to spot an Avem. Avem prefer to gather in places where people gather. They've learned that people will feed them in order to keep them nearby for their spicy aroma.
