Tazaru the Pekkin

Green gas covers the room,
A grinning figure waiting,
A flame faintly flickering,
The yellow eyes opening

A Pekkin giggles and flies to the next corner. It finds a Pekkin egg. Grinning, it rolls the egg to around a corner. Hopefully this egg will scare a human, it's on fire! It giggles again, thinking about all the fun. It hears footsteps. It leaves it in a dead end and flies off. A person walks carefully past it's hiding place. She sees a faint flame. She walks quicker, hoping for light. She can see a dim shape of an egg. Maybe she'll get an egg too! As she gets closer to the egg, she almost screams. The egg was on fire?! She runs off. The Pekkin flies out of its hiding place and continues grinning. It looks at the egg and flies off. More fun!

A Pekkin grins, waiting for a person to come by. A little kid approaches her. She stays still, pretending to be a plush. The kid picks her up, looking at her. The kid smiles, probably wanting to buy her. She squirms and the kid screams. She drops her and runs off. She giggles again. She sees a maze.

She giggles as she bounces around the maze, pretending to guide people to the exit. But she leads them to dead ends and then giggles as she disappears in the green gas, leaving them confused. One person in particular...they ignored her guidance and found the exit by themself! She was not happy with this. She will get this person....

The Pekkin giggles as she flies around. The green gas spread, thickening. She sees the person again, looking bored. She smiles a wide grin and flies above them. They seems surprised at how thick the gas was. She flies ahead and giggles and flies back into place. The person walks the other way. She does the same thing, over and over again. Until they reached a dead end. They looked so confused. She giggles and flies off.

About the Pekkin Creature

Pekkin never fail to deliver safe, spooky fun. Despite their somewhat creepy appearance, it's actually very difficult for them to surprise people as their body and tail emit a flame, which identifies them easily in the dark. Secondly, the green gas that Pekkins create also stays around for a while. So if a Pekkin "gets into position" to surprise you from around the corner, you'll probably see the green gas before you see them.

Pekkin gas has been extensively researched by the Science and Research Center in Ark City to ensure that it's not dangerous to humans. Because it's not, Pekkins are allowed to enter indoor spaces.
