You can only find this egg at the bottom of the Wetlands. It is not found anywhere else.
The Horrorse is the terror of the freshwater Wetlands in Ark. They burrow deep into the subfloor of the Wetlands, covering themselves with muck. This camouflages and hides them. After waiting for an unsuspecting passerbyβsometimes for hoursβthey quickly lurch out of the muck and devour their prey in a few chomps.
Beyond their fierce hunting capabilities, Horrorses are thought to be connected to the underworld of Ark due to dwelling in such low places. Ark mystics ask the question, "What lies beneath the wet floor?" They posit Horrorses know the answer. Mystics, apparently, have even crafted ceremonies at the Wetland's edge to commune with Horrorses but no one has ever received a definitive answer of what the water underworld actually is or if it even exists.
Some continue to believe, despite the lack of evidence.
