"GAH why doesn't anyone care" spoke a angry Treelar "Those stupid trees don't they understand how important decorating a treelar is .. its so simple a mouse could do it" The Treelar let out a loud sigh "Its like they are forgetting how important Christmas is" The treelar's voice changed to a more calmer yet sadder tone. The treelar began to try and calm down by trying to think of happier thoughts but every now and then his breath became deeper with rage and once again his anger continued. "This year is going to be different, this year I will show them all how important Christmas is even if that means stealing every single bauble and light from their pathetic little trees". Their wasn't much point in trying to calm down the treelar as his temper was quite scary to surrounding trees and they all feared his anger would be aimed at them if they tried to help, instead the trees looked at the treelar waiting for it to calm down even if that was unlikely to happen anytime soon.
------
Elsewhere in the same forest lied a spiteful vecker. "haha look at all those weak little mice cowering together for protection its like they want me to entrap them, well i will gladly oblige" His voice is menacing so much, in fact, it's said anyone who hears the vecker's voice will end up with nightmares for a month. Only wasteland surrounded the vecker as many would rather take their chances with the Angry treelar than the vecker. The Vecker now approaching the group of 'cowardly' mice began to trap them within its roots. "I must run. but I'm just a.." the mouse was grabbed by its roots before it could even finish talking "That's what you get for being a coward little one". one by one they were entrapped until they were no more. "That's strange I could have sworn they were 20 of them drat one must have fled" a surprising reaction then came onto the vecker's face..shock "I'm impressed one actually managed the courage to run from me. Well well, now this is what I call fun" The smile of the vecker became wider showing its sharp and vicious teeth.
------
"ah, my friends" Still shaken from what has just happened the little mouse didn't stop running until it was miles away from where the vecker laid. "I just ran and left them to become trapped by that monster, I really am a coward" Sobbed the mouse "Just a lonely little coward". It laid there for so long that nightfall came but the mouse didn't stop crying "what have I done?". Laying in a nearby tree an annoyed and mischievous Eeriek exclaimed "Are you just going to sit there all day and cry can't you see I'm trying to get some sleep here. Why don't you just run along and annoy someone else" The mouse jumped and began to run. "WAIT! I'm sorry its just I can't sleep very well lately this forest seems to be unsettled, please would you stay and help me pass the time?" The mouse turned around and returned to its previous spot but it stood silent and shy. "Don't you speak!? ah sorry! why were you crying little mouse did something happen?" the Eeriek's anger turned to worry towards the mouse as it sensed the mouse was astray. "It took them" whispered the mouse. "Speak up mouse how else am I supposed to hear what you say". The mouse didn't respond "Did something happen to your friends?". The mouse gaining up the courage spoke "A vecker! it took them all and entrapped them underground but I was a coward and ran leaving my friends behind". "Gah" The Eeriek stood up from its nest, its face filled with range "How dare he take advantage of this forest I will teach him a lesson no mouse or tree will forget". The mouse stood and nodded at the Eeriek "may you help me save my friends?". The Eeriek gave a faint smile "Your no coward mouse... let's go".
------
Back to where the treelar stood its anger still continued. "Why won't anyone listen" it spoke to a group of nearby trees "can't you understand how important I am to Christmas, how important I am to this forest" he paused "Well if you won't listen to me then I'll make you listen". The treelar snatched a bauble from a nearby tree "ah that's mine" cried the poor tree "I don't care its mine now. if none of you will give me your decorations then I have no choice but to take them all from you". The treelar reached for another bauble but was interrupted by a passerby "Give that back" exclaimed an Eeriek who was on its way to the Vecker along with the mouse "Why should I?" spoke the treelar "These should all be mine but they are so selfish they won't give them to me so I have no choice but to take what's mine". The Eeriek laughed "yours? won't give them to me. my arent you the selfish one" The Eeriek stopped laughing "ill give you two choices! one you return what you stole or two ill just have to teach you a lesson". The treelar stood almost starstruck that the Eeriek stood up to him but most of all his level of disrespect towards him. "how dare you? Don't you know who i am" The Treelar spoke in an aggressive tone "An angry management patient?" spoke to the Eeriek highly impressed by its joke however this joke went amiss among the rest that stood watching the fight "tough crowd tonight well maybe this will be better entertainment for you all" suddenly a roar of thunder lit the forest "what? What's happening?" cried the mouse who was now cowering behind the Eeriek. "No need to be scared little mouse" The Eeriek paused a few seconds before continuing "justice is happening". Suddenly The treelar was entrapped by a cage of lightning "Come with me and will we see the mighty power the treelar offers" The Eeriek spoke to everyone watching "mighty power" the Eeriek now speaking to himself with a smile on its face.
--------
"Put me down" the treelar exclamation "Put me down or else" the treelar not really sure what he would do spoke in a desperate and concerned tone "or else what? You'll shout at me? Try and intimate me? Well go ahead because this will make what's gonna to happen even more fun" the Eeriek spoke Not in its usually sarcastic tone but a more raged one. "Were here" the cage dropped onto a pile of fallen branches "oww that hurt.. why have you captured me tell me at once" demanded the treelar "because you need to respect the wildlife that surrounds you". Now speaking to the mouse the Eeriek said "wait here little one and watch over Mr angry over there ill be back soon" then he flew off leaving the frightened mouse behind with the treelar who was now scowling at the mouse. "great" cried the mouse.

About Festivecker Eggs

On the rare instances when a Vecker egg attaches to a Treelar the egg ends up turning into a Festivecker egg.

About the Festivecker Creature

Due to the influence of Treelar DNA the Vecker's parasitic nature becomes more symbiotic in the Festivecker. A Festivecker gains its nutrients from other plantlife but instead of draining and killing the other plants it gives back a special nutrient of its own, causing plants and trees that a Festivecker feeds from to flourish and grow even in off-seasons. This growth means that a Festivecker can safely feed off plants without killing them. This also has the side benefit of helping other animals in the area who depend on those same trees and plants. To show their gratitude for the bounty these creatures will gift Festiveckers small baubles or other items. During the winter months small patches of Ark's forests will continue to bloom and grow despite the cold temperatures. These groves are where Festiveckers can be found.
