Manafly eggs always appear among piles of discarded junk. Manafly eggs are especially numerous in the lower, unused levels of Faela City.
Manaflies are composed of an odd combination of clockwork and magic. The first Manafly was created by a bored apprentice out of spare parts. Because the Manafly was not an official project it ended up getting lost and made its way out of the workshop and into the wild. The spark of magic animating the Manafly gave it the drive to create more of its own kind. By collecting tiny amounts of ambient magic Manaflies are able to infuse new Manafly eggs with a literal spark of life. Due to the nature of their creation out of discarded parts no two Manaflies will be exactly alike.
The magic collected by Manaflies will cause them to glow. The sight of softly glowing Manaflies has become a common sight in Faela City in recent years.
