About Ambrok Eggs

This egg was only available in Egg Cave's Cash Shop Park for November 2013.

Mother Ambroks will carefully wrap a strip of cloth around their eggs. While not important to the egg itself this strip serves an important purpose once the egg has hatched. Ambrok eyes are hypersensitive to light when they are young and thus need protection. Because of this most Ambrok eggs hatch when the night is darkest. Most owners of Ambrok eggs will keep them in a dark place as a safeguard for those eggs that hatch when it is lighter out.

About the Ambrok Creature

Once an Ambrok hatches its parent or owner will wrap the strip of cloth that was around the egg around their eyes. Any bright light can damage a young Ambrok’s eyes and could permanently blind them. As they get older their eyes adjust and they can remove the strip from their eyes. Even though bright light is no longer dangerous to Ambrok eyes bright light can still irritate them, so they leave the cloth about their head to help shade their eyes if needed. Because Ambroks spend part of their life effectively blind all of their other senses become particularly acute. Ambroks raised by humans become especially good at reading small changes in emotion. Ambroks use this sense to help defend their owners from things that frighten them and to sense how others feel about their owners.
