About Zelva Eggs

The average litter size of the Zelva is 100. A Zelva always returns to the same beach every time to lay their eggs.

About the Zelva Creature

With a lifespan of between 60 to 80 years, the Zelva are one of the ocean's most magnificent creatures. Supremely well-adapted for an aquatic lifestyle, Zelvas possess an ability to perceive the planet's magnetic field. This is how they navigate the oceans and travel considerable distances (and know how to return to the island of Ark). They're capable of diving to depths of over 1200 meters. This is deeper than any other reptile or mammal on Ark.

An interesting fact about Zelvas: they lack the ability to retract and hide in their shell when threatened. They have to rely on their speed to get away from predators.
