Welcome to Ash's DJ Booth, where you can find a colourful collection of music for your week at the Nestival Festival! Starting Sunday April 28, please look forward to two new songs every other day, with each pair following a theme!

In addition to the ongoing playlist, Ash will also run a series of song-assignments! Do you have a creature or original character with lore that's in need of an accompanying soundtrack? Or just want some music for a hyper-specific scenario? If so, Ash will provide a piece of music to match! Just give a brief description of your creature/character/scenario, and/or any examples of similar music vibes.

『 Song Synopsis : 』 'Welcome to the Show' is the title track of Korean band DAY6's (2024) album, 'Fourever'. It was the group's first release after 3 years, and can be described as a warm song celebrating love, and immense gratitude to be standing together with the ones you hold close.

ii. For some contrasting energy, 'Trivia 起: Just Dance' performed by J-Hope of BTS touches on the deep house genre with its irresistable pulsing rhythms that make you want to, surprise, just dance! The song talks of the beginnings of love, comparing it to the euphoric rush that comes with dancing.

『 Song Synopses : 』 i. 'Gardenia' is an exceptionally groovy track with elements of jazz and funk to boost your mood. Presenting flavourful piano and synth solos, one might even describe it as skrunkly or spoingly music. (Fun fact: from the game Cytus, 'Gardenia' is actually a remix of two other tracks in the game.)

ii. 'walk but in a garden' brings a hint of lo-fi hip-hop, featuring the soothing vocals of Mxmtoon. With simplicity in the instrumentation and the sweet lyric of "The thought of us can make the time go by", it's perfect for winding down after a busy day (or life).

『 Song Synopsis : 』 What better way to wrap up our festivities than with the delightful 'Matsuri'? Meaning 'festival' in Japanese, it opens with a flowing piano line to then bring a flute melody dancing above. The lyrics speak of wholeheartedly embracing life through all its seasons, fuelled by an unexpectedly addictive beat that carries the atmosphere no matter the setting or company.

About Muska Eggs

The blue streaks on Muska eggs are very shiny, especially in sunlight, and oftentimes hold people spellbound. If the Muska egg is shaken lightly, blue sparkle dust will fall from these streaks; this dust can be collected (and shaking the egg will not harm it in any way). Scientifically speaking, it has been proven by the Science and Research Center in Ark City that this dust has no known abnormal properties (either by biology or magic) but people still seem to enjoy collecting Muska Dust and putting it on display in jars for all to see.
