Dirt stones cradle the Squidot egg and give it a stable resting place, no matter what surface the egg is on.
The Squidot, a result of an experiment gone wrong at the Science and Research Center in Ark City, is a bull creature whose body is neither "here" nor "there" and exists in a perpetually fragmented state between dimensions. Parts of the Squidot's body that appear to be ghostlike are actually reflections of its body from other dimensions. Its body is really there but is simply located elsewhere.
The Science and Research Center in Ark City has cancelled all further studies into explaining how and why this Squidot's body exists between dimensions. This has come under intense speculation by the general public, raising fears about whether or not a tear exists in the fabric of Ark's universe.
