The Tidalvorn is a large aquatic dragon that lives in the deep waters around Ark Bay. It doesn't surface often, so most of what people know about it is secondhand. Accounts vary. The general consensus is that it's long, scaled, and somewhere between blue and green.
It isn't aggressive but it's large enough that this doesn't always reassure people. Fishermen who spot the signs like strange currents, water going quiet, and fish disappearing tend to head back to shore. This is generally considered the smart move.
Tidalvorns raised from eggs will stick around Ark Bay for a while, but most eventually leave for open water.
