In his first life, the Nameless One committed a crime so horrible that it condemned him to fight in the Blood War for all eternity. In order to avoid his fate, he sought away to make himself immortal so he could atone for his crime. He was lead to believe that the nighthag Ravel could grant him his desire. Unfortunately the process was flawed and upon being killed and revived he forgot everything. In his final incarnation he sought a way to reverse what was done and to regain his mortality.
