MY ANSWER: I joined eggcave 2 years and 8 months ago, like it says in the info box. However, I went on a humongous hiatus and I returned to eggcave in June of 2011. ALL of the critters in my cove died. I had to rebuild my cove. So really, I'm only 1 year and 1 month old.
