About Tific Eggs

This egg was only given out in January of 2012.

As the Tific nears hatching, it has been reported that its eyes can actually be seen observing the surrounding area. Tifics will never hatch if they sense any sort of danger and will remain dormant forever.

About the Tific Creature

The Tific is a very shy creature that will hide from strangers for days at a time, and it takes a large amount of patience and compassion to befriend one. Tifics enjoy simple pleasures and love to play with pieces of loose string or ribbon. Because of this strange obsession, Tifics can often be found to be wrapped in their favorite toys.

Due to its timid nature, one Tific is selected every January and is watched to see if it hatches before February 1st. If it does, the year is considered to be "blessed" and Arkians can expect to enjoy an exciting year. If not, many Arkians believe that they will endure many hardships in the coming months. Although this tradition is widely believed, the Science and Research Center does not acknowledge the validity of this superstition.
